Does anyone here know of a
Catholic forum that welcomes, listens to, and answers
Protestant challenges to their
beliefs? _________________ Then Jesus said to his

If they are respectful in
tone and willing to hear the Catholic side, this one. We have
had many very fruitful conversations with Non-Catholic
Christians here. _________________ Peace,

The very fact that I
believe that my Protestant view is correct and that the
Catholic view is wrong and that I can be persuasive,
disqualifies me from posting.

to lead such visitors to the Catholic

challenges doesn’t seem Godly to me. I consider it a moral
obligation to alert all professing Christians to essential
Bible truths that otherwise they would have never considered,
because they’re walking in a false path. I would like to be
pointed to a Catholic forum that welcomes informed Biblical
and historical challenges to Catholic beliefs.
Unless
an exception to the stated rules can be made for this thread,
I would feel reluctant and unwelcome to continue
posting. _________________ Then Jesus said to his

Hi Eugene,
From
looking at the website listed in your profile, it sure seems
like you don't mind breaking other forum rules or basic
copyright law. _________________ denise

Hi stretch,
And it
seems to me that just being a sincere Protestant who refuses
to pretend that friendly Protestant Catholic exchange is
welcome on this forum is a violation all by itself.
Forum rules that prohibit me from displaying a record
of my crimes against the mainstream should be amended. The
website listed in my profile is permissible by the fair use doctrine:

Eugene, this site is
created for people to learn about Catholicism, not debate it.
There are many forums available to you if what you want is to
debate. _________________ Arthur

Hi Eugene,
Huh? The link takes
me to a single page that is a chunk from the forum. It is not
incorporated as part of any scholarship/research activity. It
isn't news reporting; it isn't multiple copies for classroom
distribution. There is no comment or criticism. It is merely a
chunk of somebody else's website put up as a stand alone
entity. _________________ denise

I have many other pages
with comments and criticism that point to the crime referenced
there. What do you expect me to do? Tamper with the
evidence? _________________ Then Jesus said to his

Hi Eugene,
Posting
the link in the absence of any evidence that it is part of
something covered by the fair use law would be considered by
many to be inappropriate ...
It would be more
appropriate, given the nature of copyright laws, to post the
scholarly site to which this is linked so that it is viewed in
context.
(Btw, my name is Denise.

Eugene
Can you
honestly not see whats wrong with what your doing right now?
Fr. Z and many others have devoted time money and
effort to create a forum where people can learn discuss and
teach the Catholic faith.
And where other Christians
can participate and share with us those things we hold in
common.
Faith seeking understanding. What a great
motto for a Catholic forum.
And now you want to come
in and try to use the effort of those people that created the
forum to lead people away from the faith of the forums
creators.
Thou shalt not ect. Ect.
I can just
see you knocking on my front door and asking to borrow my
chainsaw to cut down my apple tree because you prefer peaches,
than pouting and saying its unfair because I wont let you.
I guess its OK to steal this space created by others
since what they think is wrong anyway.
Go in peace

clear, I’m already a criminal for posting a link to a website
containing nothing but raw Biblical data. That website was
labeled non-Catholic and a breach of forum rules. How much
more offensive and criminal would it be for me to direct you
to the root directory? _________________ Then Jesus said
