Dear Susan,
God has designed things so that no one person as EVERYTHING that is important. That is Eugene's FIRST BIG MISTAKE, but it is not his only and last mistake.

Susan,
There is another after the sort of Eugene, by the name of Ted McMillan, who identifies his WebSite as the Last Word. Beware of all such who believe that Elijah does not have 7000 others.

I don't know how many others in this forum even know who he is; most in BlackSDA are not members of other SDA lists... however, as one who has been around for 8 years or so, on numerous different SDA lists, IMO he's a fruit loop...He's a nut from the lunatic fringe of Adventism... not quite Ron Beaulieu level nutty but getting there (Ron believes himself to wear the mantle of Ellen White; he thinks he is Elisha to her Elijah and thus that the church, especially the GC should defer to his 'prophetic judgement and vision')... Eugene has managed to make himself persona non grata in virtually all longstanding SDA discussion lists and forums on the internet which is why he started his own; it was the only way he could ensure his not being removed. But again, this is my opinion; others' mileage may vary.

In his service, Kevin Josey

Dear Friend,
I sent you a great link on The Three Angels’ Messages. I wonder if you recognize it to be new light. Here’s another new insight on the gospel:

Please let me know what your thoughts are about it.

I wonder whether he has harvested our e-mail addresses from the gcolist. Maybe LK can inform us as to whether this is possible for a nonmember?? I have probably at least twice rec'd e-mail from him.

He's harvested addresses from somewhere, or possibly a former list member has given them to him. I do not sale or give out the email
addresses for the list. For awhile people could possibly pick up email addresses through the archives, but that has been changed so that only list members can view archives. I have received frequent spam from him so I have my programs automatically bounce them back to him. Someone who repeatedly sends spam, it doesn't bother me one iota to permanently block their address and bounce it back. I'm not sure what he teaches, but I have no interest in finding out based on his spamming practice.

Hi Susan,

<SNIP>

As to your questions:

Eugene Shubert and Ron Beaulieu claim to have had or are receiving
"special" messages or "new light". --they don't agree with each other.
Ron Beaulieu has spent great amounts of time over at Adventist Issues Forum denying the full eternal Godhood of Christ and saying the Holy Spirit has no personality of it's own. I'm afraid that people who devote that kind of time to the denial of Christ as truly God are listening to the wrong spirit. According to Ron the Seventh day Adventist Church is worse than Babylon and people have to come out of the church.
--------------------
As to Eugene, there is considerable of his postings in the "Straight Testimony Thread" on this forum. From what I've gathered he was thrown out of his home SDA church for agitating arguments against the "gospel" of Graham Maxwell. As far as I'm concerned Graham Maxwell's gospel is not the right gospel. So Eugene has my sympathy there. However, I do not agree with several of his "new" interpretations on prophecy.
-----------------------
Jerry Gladstone-- Former pastor (Southern Union) and former religion teacher (Southern College), is an "apostate" SDA who is now pastor of a "non-SDA church" --First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Southern California and adjunct professor of religion at Chapman University. He claims he was "persecuted" by the SDA church because he believes in the gospel. Which is the blanket under which many of his type hide, while they attack our pillar doctrines-- as if Christ and His redemptive work were not the very center of our doctrines. Gladstone freely confesses that he did not believe the "core doctrines" yet for some reason was "shocked" when the church wasn't eager to continue giving him ministerial credientials.
-------------------------
Roy Gane is an associate professor Of Hebrew and ancient Biblical languages at the SDA seminar of Andrews University. He has written numerous articles and books:
-----------------------------
Pastor Larry Kirkpatrick is an ordained minister of the gospel. He received his BA in Religion from Southern Adventist University in 1994 and a Master of Divinity from Andrews University in 1999 with a specialization in Adventist Studies. While in Michigan he was employed by the General Conference at the White Estate's Berrien Springs branch office. Far surpassing in importance his scholastic preparation has been his immersion in the biblical and Spirit of Prophecy materials. He has some good material on the internet!

What about an apology for spreading slander against me all over the Internet and you not having the courtesy of posting a link to my rebuttal?

Susan,

Eugene SHubert and Ron Beaulieu have been banned from SDAnet. This extends
to mention of their theories and websites. I am not sure about Ted McMillan.
You may wish to revise and resubmit this post accordingly.

Hi, Just my opinion, but, if someone strikes us on the one cheek, should we not then give them the other to strike? Does true Christian character demand an apology. Should we not rejoice if persecuted for Christ's sake? I myself have been insulted and such and have never received any kind of apologies. I just have to forgive and let go. I'm not justifying dirt digging to hurt somebody, but how do we react? I could succumb to it and get angry or submit myself to GOD. Did Christ react negatively. Move a person if need be, but don't demand an apology. This person maybe has been hurt and/or feels betrayed, let us minister to those wounds. GOD BLESS.......richard speed

Richard,

When strangers come to your home and you invite them in and they insult you and prove themselves obnoxious and unregenerate, I assume you say nothing. I assume you only reprove those in the right. I say, rebuke sin firmly, and give it no sanction. The refuge of lies for the covering up of sin must be torn away in order that poor deluded souls may not sleep on to their everlasting ruin.
