Can anyone explain dreams of ressurection? I've had a total of three of them and the first two were vague and non-descriptive....so to speak. However, the last one I had 4-5yrs ago was different. I was at Jesus feet begging him to let me into heaven. He said no.....
This dream was one of the most real ones I've ever had. Ever since I've been spiritually lost and in depression. Is this dream from God or Satan? What does this mean????????????

arpeggio,

I also had a very disturbing dream very similar to yours. My dream may have been 10 years ago. I dreamt of Christ's Second Coming and that I was rejected. The overpowering feeling of rejection and despair that I felt in my dream seemed to have deeply etched a sense of lasting, overwhelming hopelessness in my mind. I don't believe that you were discouraged more deeply than I was. I'm certain that I know exactly how unsaved Laodiceans will feel when Jesus comes again.

One odd thing about my dream is that Christ appeared in the western sky, not from the east as it says Christ will appear in Matthew 24:27.

If your dream came from Satan, don't give it another thought. If it came from God, consider what the Bible teaches about God announcing judgment upon His disobedient people. The first thing that you should know is that God's announcements of judgment are always conditional. Please read the book of Jonah and prayerfully consider the divine purpose of prophecy. Please study this excellent article on conditionalism:

Conditionalism: a cornerstone of Adventist doctrine.

God's messages can be very strong and hard to accept. Many trust in a watered-down version of the gospel but God doesn't want any of us to rest comfortably, live for ourselves and trust a shallow theology of salvation.

Jesus did teach that there is no forgiveness for blaspheming the Holy Spirit. That means that a defiant sinner can reach a point of being so hardened in unbelief that the Holy Spirit ceases to plead with him. There were Jewish leaders in Christ's day who reached that level of defiance against the truth. They were certain that Jesus was a representative of Satan. They thought he was hopeless and no longer cared about what he said. If you have any anxiety about your salvation, that means you're still savable.

I strongly urge you to read The Gospel According to Jesus by John F. MacArthur Jr. and decide if you can accept and believe the real gospel. That's the real test. Jesus taught that there is a huge cost involved. The good news for you is that you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
