Wow, I gotta say Im surprised to find this kind of discussion on this forum. I was wanting to work on the Unification Theory but instead became a housewife and mother of 5. It is fulfilling and has plenty of importance, but I sitll love this kind of discussion. How wonderful.
My question for you is have you done much thought about the Fourth Dimension? There was a book titled (I think) "The Flatlanders" that really opened the subject up nicely... Ive done alot of thinking about it, and I believe that God and his angels move freely in ways we have no clue to, and that as a part of our isolation as a planet because of sin, that we are confined to the 3rd dimension.
If time were the fourth dimension, one way that we are confined is that our days are numbered and our world is on display to the universe as the fearful results of sin are played out slowly so that all can get a clear understanding of the nature of the great controversy. It seems more that time was the lock placed on the fourth dimension, and that we are subject to it because of sin. After this world and death pass away, time no longer is the same, why count if you have forever?
If another direction were the fourth dimension, like in the hypercube, then we simply lack the ability to comprehend it. Faith seems to reach through the portals of the fourth dimension in this way as it is the evidence of things not seen. It is like there is an unlimited resource within our reach. I think of it like this... if a black hole or a white hole is simply a point of singularity with a whole lot of gravity, every point in space is a potential white or black hole. The potential is limitless. I believe that through our faith we access that which we cannot see, like when Christ fed the 5000. He intended that we have the same kind of faith. It could explain how God is all around us, and yet we cannot see him. We are limited but we have been given the gift of faith.
What are your thoughts on this? _________________ "Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man. Through God we shall do valiantly: for it is he that shall stread down our enemies." |
