I am trying to find an article I read a few years back about a coin presented to the Pope on his visit to the US.
It was on one of those websites callilng for reform of in the Adventist Church before we are all killed. I am not so interested in the article as I am in the coin. It is a token of some sort given out to various dignitaries on a veriety of occasions.
Has anyone seen this coin? Where can I find out more about it?

Steve,
Welcome to this forum.
The contact page for the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists in Silver Spring Maryland lists their main phone number as 301-680-6000. Try calling them and ask about the availability of copies of the coin or the exact specifications of the coin. You also might want to ask who minted the coin and ask for a copy of the non-disclosure statement that they asked that company to sign. I'd love to hear what they have to say.
My guess is that they only made one coin and that someone leaking the exact specifications of the coin to the general Adventist public would terrify the church leadership. They wouldn't want the coin to be remade in mass quantities, I suspect. It would cheapen the value of their original gift.
