Never before has Sudan received so much attention by the western media.
Tragically, the attention is due to an escalation of the demonically inspired reign of terror characterized by genocidal atrocities against innocent African men, women and children.
Yesterday the U.S. Congress passed an important resolution declaring that genocide is taking place in Darfur, Sudan.
Tens of thousands of people have already lost their lives in recent weeks in Darfur. And, more than one million people face imminent death from starvation and disease having forcibly been displaced from their homes by Islamist "janjaweed" militia forces.
This Congressional resolution turns up the heat on the Sudan Government, the international community, the United Nations and the Bush Administration to act decisively to end the genocide. |
