1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus is the Word made Flesh. He was at the beginning. He is the Messiah. Jesus is God.

John 10:30 "I and the Father are one."

Father and Son bears witness to each other (having seen one you have seen the other): (John 8 : 13 - 27)
John 8:13 "But even if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone in it, but I and He who sent Me."
John 8:17 "Even in your law it has been written, that the Testimony of two men is true."
John 8:18 "I am He who bears witness of Myself, and the Father who sent me bears witness of Me."
John 8:19 "And so they were saying to Him, ‘Where is your Father?’ Jesus answered, ‘You know neither Me, nor my Father, if you knew Me, you would know my Father also."

Christ is Pre-existent:
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God,"
John 1:2 "He was in the beginning with God
John 1:14 "And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth."

John 8:58 "Jesus said to them, ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am."

ALL POWERFUL:
Isaiah 9:6 "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; and the government will rest on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace."

Phillipians 3:20 "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ;"
Phillipians 3:21 "who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself."

Colossians 2:9 "For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form,"
Colossians 2:10 "and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;"

Mathew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit."

Hi Margret,
Thank you for sharing. It is unfortunate that many people don't comprehend the truth of the trinity. The Jehovah Witnesses for one. Pray for them.
