For to this end we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe. 1 Timothy 4:10

Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. 1 Timothy 6:17

For most people the living God is dead and as a result they don’t see or have miracles, signs and wonders in their lives because they don’t trust in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Yes, every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures ( James 1:17-1 .

Yes, God is our refuge and strength and a very present help in trouble. Yes, The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge (Psalm 46). Yes, with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27). "For with God nothing will be impossible" (Luke 1:37). "The things which are impossible with men are possible with God" Luke 18:27.

Christianity is a miracle religion where its founder and sustainer is a great and wonderful miracle working God who continually does miracles for those who trust not in themselves but in God. He takes men from a prison to a palace, from poverty to prosperity, from death to life. God’s word is unchanging:

"And the patriarchs, becoming envious, sold Joseph into Egypt. But God was with him "and delivered him out of all his troubles, and gave him favor and wisdom in the presence of Pharaoh, king of Egypt; and he made him governor over Egypt and all his house. Acts 7:9-10

For we do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, of our trouble which came to us in Asia: that we were burdened beyond measure, above strength, so that we despaired even of life. Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us; in whom we trust that He will still deliver us, you also helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on our behalf for the gift granted to us through many. 2 Corinthians 1:8-11

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9

Only a living God delivers those who trust in Him out of all their troubles. Only a living God makes those who trust in Him rich. Only a living God gives favor, wisdom and promotion to those who trust in Him like Abraham and Joseph and Job. Only a living God blesses and increases and comforts those who trust in Him. God’s word is unchanging:

"Listen to Me, you who follow after righteousness, You who seek the LORD: Look to the rock from which you were hewn, And to the hole of the pit from which you were dug. Look to Abraham your father, And to Sarah who bore you; For I called him alone, And blessed him and increased him." For the LORD will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the LORD; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody. Isaiah 51:1-3

Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. Psalm 1:1-3
