Please discontinue any and all posting to any part of the aToday site, including the forums, article discussions, or any future feature.

Thank you.

Dear Greg,

Please understand that I can’t do that. I regard the management of aToday as a bunch of identity thieves who have stolen my good name—Seventh-day Adventist. How would you like someone stealing your name and trashing it before the world? You wouldn’t like it! Well, aToday is trashing my good name in the most underhanded way possible. First, it claims to be open and above board. Second, it professes to be Christian and SDA. It is neither. It is openly antiChristian and hypocritically censors every true Seventh-day Adventist who speaks too boldly in the cause of exposing aToday’s true character. Please consider the following testimonies.

Jim Moyers said on Wednesday, January 16, 2002: "Cliff, I don't know if this posting will be allowed to stay up, but since ex-SDA's have apparently been thrown off aToday, I won't be talking with you here. To quote Greg's email to several who have identified themselves as former Adventists…So I guess I'll be moving on."

Jim, for what it's worth I deplore Greg's management style of this Forum. I have been repeatedly shocked by his irrational and arrogant actions that reflect little, if any, of the religion of Christ.

Perhaps Clifford is pleased if there is a purge taking place, as he has made that very same point of wanting all the critics removed. However, I confess that I am very disappointed and embarrassed with how the Atoday Forum operates and hope that you will not assume that Greg reflects the sentiments of those who post on this Forum.

I have enjoyed our dialog and your insight and regret that Atoday cannot get its act together. Perhaps you can offer young Greg some counseling, as he needs plenty?

But who knows, there may be political pressure from the hierarchy behind much of what has been done, even though Greg has denied this to me. But then what other excuse is left? An ego tripping young braniac out of control? But, regardless, for anyone to push people away from discussing Adventist Issues and the Gospel is hardly Christian, much less democratic. No wonder SDA's are in such a confused crisis. This arrogance and manipulation is beyond belief on a liberal Forum that claims to be open and above board.

When Greg says: ""I am interested in seeing less of the 'Boo hoo, when I was an Adventist…" what does that mean? Would Jesus take this position and reject those who were hurt and crying?

Matt. 19:14 But Jesus said, "Let the children alone, and do not hinder them from coming to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

And who cares what Greg is "interested in?" He does not own this Forum, nor does he have any burden for Adventist Reform. In fact, he wouldn't know where to begin if he were interested in reforming the church.

Why this kid is even in charge of this place is a mystery to me, as I have no evidence whatsoever that he believes in the Gospel, much less anything that Adventism teaches.

Frankly, I don't care a hoot about "what Greg is interested in" and neither should anyone else. This is all ego tripping nonsense as far as I am concerned. Atoday should replace Greg with someone who understands the Gospel and who wants to help save the dying and neglected Advent Movement.

Once again, I apologize for how you are being treated. As you can see, the Gospel is dimly understood over here, and the teaching of Christ virtually ignored. Pity.

Tom Norris,

I guess I’m too new around here; I don’t know who Greg is. But as far as your message goes, if you replace Greg’s name with that of J.R. Layman, I say, my sentiments exactly!

I think Greg and J.R. should be taken out and given a severe beating, metaphorically speaking.

Jim,

I don’t understand your message. This place is a haven for ex-SDAs and SDAs who don’t believe. Feature articles are written on the theme of “Boo hoo I’m no longer an Adventist and this is the reason why.”

Re: “UNPLEASENT ADVENTISM......does it Represent Christ?”

Standard raising true Adventists are unpleasant to apostate Adventists because they faithfully represent Christ. I’m reminded of king Ahab’s complaint to Jehoshaphat, “There is still one man through whom we can inquire of the LORD, but I hate him because he never prophesies anything good about me, but always bad. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.” 2 Chronicles 18:7.

And this is why many if not all on this forum have given up the SDA church. they whine and whine about the church.....maybe they need a little cheese with their "whine"...eh?????

Few seem to realize that the focus of attack on bible Adventism is simply an attack on the law of God. That is the simple truth. Anyone who hates a judgment according to the law of God, hates God Himself. Neither will they admit that the ten commandment law is simply the law of grace, faith, love and the gospel...

For if they did, they would immediately embrace the law and thank God for bible Adventism as expressed by EGW. Neither would they attack the investigative judgment where the life of every professed believer will be investigated to see if they really believed in the gospel.

Now....."life is hard"....but grace is sufficient for all who believe. Ask Paul. Ask Moses....or briefly....ask any true believer from the beginning of sin until today. We can ask it this way....

Do we see Roses on the thorn bushes.....or thorns on the Rose bush?????

Both can be true....depending on the perspective of life you are experiencing at the present time.

Overall....you will not get much help if any on this forum. Its major is skepticism, doubt, unbelief and denial of truth....all in the name of a false gospel that would have us believe that Jesus did away with the law on the cross of Calvary. This is the final line.

If we "cut to the chase" this is where this forum is at.
Where is the sin in those words? The gospels also record Jesus ruffling feathers:

“And He was saying to them, ‘You are from below, I am from above; you are of this world, I am not of this world.’ ” John 8:23.

“The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it, that its deeds are evil.” John 7:7.

“Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!” John 8:43-45.

As I have read many threads on this forum I’ve been wondering if the moderator and administrators are on a mission to destroy the Seventh-day Adventist church. The logo suggests this place is Adventist but is it really?”
