If someone wants to better their relationship with Christ, feeling bad isn't the way to go about it. The Gospel is the good news, but the movie just seemed to want to make us hurt. To me this is indicative of the Catholic mentality. Everything is cloak and daggers, mysteries and melancholy forms of worship. The Lord doesn't need us to feel sorry for him. That's not why we're here.
