Greetings Brethren, The Lost and the Found,
Many have come weak in the Faith. Thus they are swayed and rendered brain and heart dead by False Doctrines. The way of Cremation is evil and ungodly. Why create (cremate) your own Hell?

CREMATION AN ACT OF SATAN

In the name of Jehovah God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

Peace be unto you. Thanks be to our Father, His Son and the Holy Spirit. We are grateful for the mood and movement of the Divine Guide that dwells within. Thus, we come bringing another critical question up for review. "Cremation is an act of Satan."

However, many people of this world cremate beloved family members and friends daily. Often the deceased person has made a request to be cremated (Burned). Also many people argue that with the escalating costs of funerals and the thievery of many funeral parlors regarding the inflated (jacked-up) price for caskets they opt for cremation. For the record some people argue that caskets are marked up in price more than are just as much as jewelry. For example an alleged $2000 casket could be sold at a profit for ½ the price.

It is also noted that many people believe in cremation because they are non believers are Pagan in thought and action. Meanwhile there are reports that so-called Christians also believe in this Pagan practice. Even some Preachers cremate members of their family. Therefore, there is a dire need to explore this question and record for our readers what the Bible says about this question.

First of all what is cremation? Cremate means to burn a dead body to ashes. Cremation means to burn a dead body to ashes without burying it. Crematory is a furnace for cremating dead bodies. Although Cremation is a custom and traditional practice for many people, it is the way of Pagans
and Heathens. The burning of the dead also is an integral part of various religions. However, Christianity does not condone cremation. But religions that believe in cremation also believe in multiple gods and worship idols. One of the greatest victories of Satan is to brainwash, manipulate and blind people to the Truth of God. Thus we have millions of people that follow so- called Christian doctrines that are actually inspired by Satan. The Book of Revelation tells us about these people. For the record and for the wise that Love God. YOU CANNOT BE CONSUMED BY SATAN AND FIRE IF YOU KEEP YOUR EYES ON GOD. Therefore those in the church that have been taken with False Doctrines place their Faith in man in the flesh and not God.

As we turn to the Bible as our primary source of information, we see the Creation of man.
Genesis 2:7. "And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

Man is created with both body, soul and spirit. In the previous verse only body and soul are mentioned. However Zechariah 12:1 reveals that after the body and soul are created God immediately and simultaneously created the spirit. Thus, man has a triune nature of body, soul and spirit.

Also, note 1 Thessalonians 5: 23. This is the only place in the Bible where the three parts (body, soul and spirit) of the human being are named in one sentence.

Now turn to the next chapter in Genesis. Here in Genesis 3:19 we see additional scripture that will help us understand the evil nature of cremation.

"In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

The word dust is also used in Genesis 2:7. Of the dust man was formed but made to be alive as noted in Genesis 2:7. It is only logical then that the body will eventually return to its former state and become dust of the earth again.

This, this scripture is often used as a clear message to believers to bury their dead. It is also noted the Jesus Christ was buried. Hence reason enough to denounce cremation. However, we will note additional information to support God's law regarding burial of the dead.

OK, this is just silly. Who cares what you do with a body when it's dead? If you believe God can raise the dead and make a universe from nothing, don't you believe He could easily reconstitute a body burned to ashes? And isn't the whole Resurrection gig supposed to be about NEW bodies anyway?
What is so sacred about burying it and letting it ROT ... seems a lot less respectful to the person's memory to do that (let it slowly rot) than to dispose with the body altogether. And it seems really stupid to saddle relatives with exorbitant expenses involved in purchasing boxes to hold bodies while they rot.

PART 2: BURIAL OF THE DEAD

In the name of Jehovah God, Master of the universe, Ruler of the earth.

During these days and times the deceased are dead bodies are usually buried are burned to ashes. It is for sure that the law of God is important in this instance and without a doubt is Supreme or Superior to any law of man. The law of God regarding the burial of the dead also separates Pagan religion from the belief in one God and true worship.

Burial is the act of placing a dead body in a tomb. This tomb can be in the earth or the sea. The burial of the dead is also composed of an appropriate ceremony. The act of burial is thus opposed to leaving a body in the forest etc. to be devoured by animals, abandonment and burning.

The Egyptians have been noted as heathens in many biblical and historical writings. However the Egyptians laid the foundation for embalming the dead and went to great lengths to preserve the body. We also note that the record shows that monotheism flourished in Egypt alongside Pagan and Heathen practices. Thus the Egyptian religious experience was unique as were their great contributions to world civilizations.

Again we note that the people of Israel were moved by the Word of God noted in Genesis 3: 19, "dust thou art and to dust thou shalt return." Thus, they always buried their dead. Also the land of Canaan had many caves and those places were frequently used as burial places.

As we bear witness to the Truth of God, we realize that many Pagan and unbelievers will try to justify the acts of Satan by attempting to use the Bible. Therefore for the record and for clarity and understanding we bring Saul up for review. Saul is brought up for review because Saul and his son's bodies were treated in a way that some people may believe supports the act of cremation.

Saul was the first king of Israel. Samuel as Prophet and Judge anoints (As God had directed) Saul (secretly) as king of Israel. In 1 Samuel Chapter 8 the people requested Samuel for a king. Thus, in 1 Samuel Chapter 9 Saul is introduced. However, his kingship was marked by great disobedience to God. (See 1 Samuel 15:22-23).

We will turn to scripture that needs clarification to reveal that God has not ordained the act of burning those that have died.
1 Samuel 31: 12-13. "All the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Bethshan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there."

31:13. "And they took their bones, and buried them under a tree at Jabesh, and fasted seven days."

These circumstances resulted from the last battle of Saul; Defeated by the Philistines his body was decapitated. His remains were taken to Bethshan. (See 1 Samuel 31:10). Meanwhile his head was placed in the temple of Dagon (see 1 Chronicles 10:10). However his body was hung on the city-wall.

The scripture here (1 Samuel 31_12-13) reveals that the men of Jabesh-Gilead remembered Saul for his care and concern. Thus they recovered his body and the bodies of his sons from the walls of Bethshan, and gave them an honorable burial at Jabesh.

But the text here (1 Samuel 31:12) says they burnt the bodies. Also the text in the next verse says the sons were buried. Let us now turn to 2 Samuel 2: 4-7. In verses 4 and 5 we see the notation that Saul was buried. However we will refer to further scripture.

2 Chronicles 16:14. "And they buried him in his own sepulcher, which he had made for himself in the city of David, and laid him in the bed which was fitted with sweet odors and divers kinds, of spices prepared by the apothecaries' art: and thy made a very great burning for him."

The Biblical record shows that many prominent men of God prepared their own burying places. Here we see that Asa had prepared a sepulcher for his body. Burning is noted here as a bon-fire. This was an act of respect for the remains of loved one's.

The Prophet Jeremiah reveals more about this subject.
Jeremiah 34:5. "But thou shalt die in peace: and with the burnings of thy fathers, the former kings which were before thee, so shall they burn odors, for thee; and they will lament thee, saying, Ah lord! For I have pronounced the word, saith the Lord."

The Biblical record shows that incense and other sweet fragrances were burned at the burial of people. This was especially seen in men of distinction.
