OK, this is just silly. Who cares what you do with a body when it's dead? If you believe God can raise the dead and make a universe from nothing, don't you believe He could easily reconstitute a body burned to ashes? And isn't the whole Resurrection gig supposed to be about NEW bodies anyway?
What is so sacred about burying it and letting it ROT ... seems a lot less respectful to the person's memory to do that (let it slowly rot) than to dispose with the body altogether. And it seems really stupid to saddle relatives with exorbitant expenses involved in purchasing boxes to hold bodies while they rot.
