in Genesis ONE everything God created was good

he created male and female in his image, but he calls them zakar and nekebah, meaning "To remember" and to pierce

Also if you look at the word for image, its "NOTHING YET" an empty vain shew; it was good, but it wasnt anything living; to get LIFE it would have to be TESTED and given a "WILL" first

so Gen 2, from verse 4 on, is how God now divides the man; he doesnt do anything to the woman

he takes half of man out and creates a woman for him and in this, he creates the evil inclination

how can a woman without her head KNOW how to choose

how can a man without his soul connected to him, keep it from choosing wrong?

uniting them six thousand years later in Christ together again as they were in the beginning Jesus said, is called the fulfillment of the covenant

Adam and Eve, face to face, the cherubim over the mercy seat

spirit (Adam) and Soul (Eve) image and likeness of GOD with the spirit of GOD BETWEEN THE PIECES

God showed Abraham that he would fulfill the covenant by cutting the animals in half and letting the light pass between the pieces

he was showing him that the covenant would be made in the darkness of their separation which is tasting death; "the great darkness he threw Abram into.

this death is IDOLATRY, not knowing the TRUE GOD

how can one know God till he reveals himself to us

and how can he reveal himself, unless he first HIDES to show us what we will do without him
