A Reform-minded Seventh-day Adventist forum
In our aim to exalt everything important, first and foremost, we seek to promote a clear understanding of Daniel, Revelation, the three angels' messages and the alpha and omega of apostasy.

My experience with VOAF is that they have rules of behavior that direct everyone on that forum to say, ‘Good Lord, and good devil.’
It’s obvious that the VOAF doesn’t allow posters to affirm that there’s a great distinction between good and evil. I question their policy. If we mandate that the most sacred truths and the most demonic of errors are to be spoken of with equal respect, who wins? God or Satan?
I had a sincerely held belief that agents of Satan were on that forum. I wanted to talk with like-minded individuals who felt the same way. I started a thread on the subject of Matthew 24:23 and a very detailed insight on that verse by Ellen G. White.
Not only did I receive a flood of critical complaints in the short time that the thread was open—and all posts openly hostile and opposed to the purpose of my topic—but the forum administrator quickly closed the thread.
Jesus said, “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.” Matthew 7:15. “At that time if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘Look, there he is!’ do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and miracles to deceive the elect—if that were possible. But take heed; behold, I have told you everything in advance.” Mark 13:21-23.
According to the reprimand that I had received from that forum’s administrator, there could be no investigation of Christ’s prophecy because any interpretation of it is essentially a personal attack on those the prophecy describes.
I consider that to be a demonic deception. That administrator also said, “Sowing generic suspicion and distrust into a SDA community is not productive to God's work.” How is his statement not a direct attack against Jesus Christ? See Satan’s Agents Are On This Forum.
Another absurd instance of VOAF’s ‘Good Lord, and good devil’ directive is when I started a thread called, Pharisees, Sadducees, Seventh-day Adventists. The thread was padlocked and my posting privileges were suspended because of the title. According to personal email from the administrator, my offense was the title. It puts the Seventh-day Adventist church in a bad light.
A mere profession of the Adventist faith doesn’t interest me. I want to hear the testimony of Jesus. If the testimony of Jesus is being muffled, then it’s time to move to a forum that permits it.
Respectfully submitted,
Eugene Shubert |
