Whoa - 23 different forums! Who has time to even figure out which forum they’re supposed to post in?
No one has asked me that question before. I thought I should wait for questions before stating precise clarifications to everything.
Still, I do get the feeling that most people have a sense that I’m ranking forums in terms of importance. For those who can recognize that and can fathom the meaning of the 7 categories, it’s actually much easier than making 23 decisions.

Subject: Your board.
Eugene,
Your board is nice. It would be far more appealing if you arranged it more freely. CARM has got it right letting each individual create their own topics of interest instead of being forced to discuss only what is provided by administrators. If you want to be big. Change your board to resemble the freedom CARM provides.
My opinion.

My Reply:
Dear Jim,
Thanks for your opinion. I understand that my bulletin board will not appeal to the mass market. I am aiming my board at precisely defined categories, not predefined topics. Let me make this clear. Any topic can be discussed, even attacks on me. I just finished posting my philosophy that governs my board and it was all about giving everyone the freedom to say what they want.
I have a forum for important conversations (Mount Zion). I have a forum for meaningless chat (The Bottomless Pit). That covers everything serious and everything frivolous—that’s quite general.
Let me explain the purpose of the other forums. Suppose someone started a thread to make the point that all must submit to the authority of the Roman Pontiff to obtain salvation. That would be an important (and interesting) discussion. But because my board is well organized—allowing for great refinement— and seeks to promote Protestant Christianity, as a forum administrator and believer in grammatical-historical exegesis, I would move that thread to the forum called The Dragon, Beast and False Prophet Convention Center.
As the name to my URL implies, I’m interested in Everything Important. I’m also interested in principled, reasoned discourse.
