I was searching the web and found an article in this forum, and would like to consider more.

Jesus is head of the Body of Christ.

Christ means Messiah means Anointed.

Jesus is Anointed.

The Body of Christ, or believers Jesus is the Christ, is Anointed.

Jesus calls us His brethren, making us equals to Him.

Jesus is greater than us, as He is the Firstborn, and all the rights, blessings and promises now come through Him. He is the inheritor of all things. We enter into covenant with the Firstborn, and He shares His inheritance equally with us.

The Father is greater than Jesus.

As we are equal to Jesus, and Jesus is equal to the Father, then the Father is greater-than-or-equal-to us. Jesus is greater-than-or-equal-to us. The point is, we are His brethren, equal to Jesus, and equal to the Father.

The Body of Christ is the children of God the Father, equal to God the Father, and the Father is greater than us, as He is the Father. Jesus is greater than us, as Jesus is the Firstborn of many brethren.

As a member in the Body of Christ, or Body of Anointed, I am Christ, or I am Anointed.

As Jesus is Christ, and Jesus is God, and I am Jesus' brother, and I am Christ, and John wrote, "Now, are we the sons of God" then we are equal to God, and this equality comes at the price of the blood of Jesus. With this equality of being God, we bend our knee and confess Jesus is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS because we love Him, not because we fear Him.

In the old covenant, righteousness came by the law of Moses, and in the new covenant righteousness comes by faith in the power of the shed blood of Jesus. Even Joshua was clothed in filthy rags of self righteousness to the law, and had to put on new clothes that represents Jesus changing His filthy rags of self righteousness, to His glorious apparel of righteousness made white by His very blood.

We know that Jesus chastizes every child He loves, and that constitutes the grounds of the law of Love. So then, our love and works are measured by our obedience to the law, while our righteousness comes from our faith in His blood. Jesus give us the authority to bind and loose things on earth and in heaven, and this is the foundation of our ability to establish civil law, which is another way of how we are to conduct ourselves, and there is no law against love, but there is a commandment to love. It is by this quality of love that we can know one another, not by self-righteousness to the law of Moses.

We then keep the words of Jesus, that is, we do not throw them away or abolish them with our own cannons, even though we might not always obey His words. We sin, and this sin reflects our failure to love, and by no means reflects unrighteousness, as our righteousness and holiness come from the sacred blood of Jesus we accept sprinkled onto us by faith.

As Jesus said for us to keep the commandments, and then quoted several from Exodus 20, we accept He is speaking of the ten commandments found in Exodus 20, and not the Levitical laws of the old Levitical Priesthood. Then, we have the faith of Jesus, the power of His blood, and keep the commandments, not throwing them away, and sometimes failing to obey His commandments reflecting our need to grow more in His love, and if our slip ups mandate Jesus to chastise us, it is out of love, but not because we are unrighteous, for righteousness can now only come by faith in His blood, and only self-righteousness came by the law of Moses.

Now, if we say that God is our Father, and we are Anointed or Christ, but deny that we are God, then how can we be the sons of God? These must agree as one if the Father is to answer Jesus' prayer that we be one. The LORD our God, the Lord is one. One Family. One Father, One Firstborn, One Holy Spirit, and many Ones (you and I) that believe in Him. God is not then a trinity, but an infinity.

I approved of your post by mistake. Your beliefs are so far from what this forum teaches that we have no common ground. I'll be deleting your post in a few days.

Thanks. I would venture to point out that we do have the sure promise of Jesus as common ground, "Nothing can pluck us out of His hand", and that promise is doubled that His Father "is greater than Jesus, and nothing can pluck us out of His hand." Nothing, not even the unpardonable sin of not accepting Jesus as Christ which is the work of the Holy Spirit.

Michael, this is a forum for Millerites, confessing Seventh-day Adventists and persons interested in this ministry. We do not profess equality with Jesus or God.
