Has the Seventh-day Adventist church turned from Christ, has it rejected what Christ told it to follow, has it ignored the truth given by Christ as the gospel to be preached to all nations, has the church drifted into paganism, heathen beliefs that teach the worship of strange pagan gods, or let leaders who do abominations or openly proclaim sin as allowable to take charge of the church. I dont think so, and until that occurs the Seventh-day Adventist church is a part of Christ, lead by Christ as its head.
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible the authoritative revealer of doctrines, the written Word of God, from the beginning where Christ was with God and Christ was God. They hold there is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, in which Jesus Christ is the Son who gives us the gift of eternal life. They hold they are heirs, heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. That the kingdom of God is of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, and anyone who serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.

Seventh-day Adventists accept what Christ at Creation made a day that was blessed and sanctified, a day of rest and holy that Christ reaffirmed when He said unto Moses to say unto the people, "This is that which the LORD hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD". It was day that Christ reaffirmed in the flesh as He said unto them, "That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath". It is the day Christ created as a gift for man, a holy day of rest sanctified, and blessed.
Seventh-day Adventists accept that Christ's life of perfect obedience to God's will, His suffering, death, and resurrection, God provided the only means of atonement for human sin, so that those who by faith accept this atonement may have eternal life. And the resurrection of Christ proclaims God's triumph over evil, and those who accept the atonement assures them eternal life.

Seventh-day Adventists accept that the church derives its authority from Christ, and is composed of all who truly believe in Christ, but in the last days, a time of widespread apostasy, a remnant has been called out to keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. This church is the Adventist church, those who truly follow Christ are God's family; but the Adventist church is given the testimonies of Christ, the Spirit of Prophecy to prepare for the last days. The church is the body of Christ, a community of faith of which Christ Himself is the Head, if they reject Him and turn from Christ then it loses that, but otherwise we must love it like our love for Christ.
Seventh-day Adventists accept that the second coming of Christ is the blessed hope of all who truly believe in Christ, the grand climax of the gospel. When Christ appears, the resurrected righteous and the living righteous will be glorified and caught up to meet their Lord and taken to heaven.

The Seventh-day Adventist church follows Christ who leads it and is its head, if you love Christ then the Seventh-day Adventist church as Christs body and His true believers must also be loved.

1 Corinthians 16:22
If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church is at the point where the Jews were when they crucified the Son of God and put Him to open shame. Like the unloving and faithless Jews of that era, most Seventh-day Adventists approve of punishing dissenting Adventists through the civil power. See The Seventh-day Adventist Threat to Religious Liberty and A Profile of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

OK now that you have said all this what do you do?

I follow the Spirit of Prophecy advice in the compilation titled The Manifesto of Reform-Minded Seventh-Day Adventists. Ellen White wrote: "While we will endeavor to keep the ‘unity of the Spirit’ in the bonds of peace, we will not with pen or voice cease to protest against bigotry."

My goal in the new year is to work to serve the Lord not the church. Many churches are lost in the business of the church but when you place your heart on doing the work of the Lord, you have no time for these small things.

"When I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand." Ezekiel 3:18.

"If one neglects the duty Christ has enjoined, of trying to restore those who are in error and sin, he becomes a partaker in the sin. For evils that we might have checked, we are just as responsible as if we were guilty of the acts ourselves." DA 441.

The Word of God says: "Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in his guilt." Lev. 19:17. NIV.

"If you are willing to drift along with the current of evil, and do not cooperate with the heavenly agencies in restraining transgression in your family, and in the church, in order that everlasting righteousness may be brought in, you do not have faith." RH, Nov. 1, 1892.

"We must not be discouraged if there are only a few that believe the present truth. It is not the great numbers that follow Christ. In answer to the question, 'Are there few that be saved?' The reply was, 'Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.' Luke 13:24. 'Strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.' Matt. 7:14. Now we see only a few who regard the commandments of God, and those who will not lift the cross after having a knowledge of their duty will finally meet their destruction. We should not turn to the right or to the left, for if we do we shall find a dish of fables in place of truth." 3MR 91.

"Those who have not a living connection with God have not an appreciation of the Holy Spirit's manifestation, and do not distinguish between the sacred and the common. They do not obey God's voice, because, as the Jewish nation, they know not the time of their visitation. There is no help for man, woman, or child who will not hear and obey the voice of duty, for the voice of duty is the voice of God. The eyes, the ears, and the heart will become unimpressible if men and women refuse to give heed to the divine counsel, and choose the way that is best pleasing to themselves." TM 402.

A Testimony For Sleepy, Ease-Loving Sentinels

Many will talk about how bad things are within the church but few will try to pray and help work for change.

You just want to bring others to the truth that is Jesus Christ.

"These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone" (Matthew 23:23, Luke 11:42).
