The angels may be concerned about your ability to soar.

J. W. Lehman and the Manifest Sons of God

I started reading a book late last night that was given to me as a gift several years ago. The book is Christ Our Righteousness by Seventh-day Adventist Pastor J. W. Lehman. At the end of the first chapter there is this very alarming paragraph:

An Old Testament writer prophesied that "the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea." Habakkuk 2:14. Here is Ellen White's comment on this Bible text: "Another angel comes down from heaven having great power, and the earth is to be lightened with his glory. The Spirit of the Lord will so graciously bless consecrated human instrumentalities that men, women, and children will open their lips in praise and thanksgiving, filling the earth with the knowledge of God, and with His unsurpassed glory as the waters cover the sea." 7BC 984. It will be so extensive there will be millions of people shining for God, filled with His glory and manifesting His character, and the whole earth will be full of His glory. Human beings, multitudes in every land, will shine for God, saying, "Behold your God. He is like us, and we are like Him." — J. W. Lehman, Christ Our Righteousness p. 11.

This is a terrible error and a false gospel.

If the message is wrong then so is Ephesian 3 that says we can achieve the fulness of the Godhead, and so is the hope that Christ can through his blood and grace bring us back to Eden condition. You must not believe His promises of overcoming. Keep searching deeply for His power of overcoming self.
