The 'causing of the sacrifice and oblation to cease', the 'abomination of desolation', the 'trampling and desecrating of the sanctuary' and the 'cleansing of the sanctuary', 'the time, times and half a time (3 1/2 years) all occur at the cross during the 70th week of Daniel 9. I don't see how this is possible. God is pouring out a lot of wrath on the Jews and their sanctuary in Da. 8-9. What makes you think that the vision of Daniel 8, described as a period of God's indignation (Da. 8:19), is about God restoring transgressors that "have reached their fullness" of apostasy?
