Is it possible that the sealing of the book could refer to the whole of scripture? Seems to me that the best way to seal something up would be to make it impossible (or at least extremely improbable) to open with the existing technology of the time. Also, some of you, I'm sure, are familiar with Michael Drosin's book The Bible Code, I would like to mention that this site has nothing to do with this book. Here is one of the "codes" that has been uncovered, it starts in Isaiah 62:5 and ends at 2 Chronicles 7:9. If any among you are Hebrew scholars, you can check it out for yourselves, it's there. Judge for yourselves:

The ones that made me, the mob, was blackened by me (one hundred are his Gods). The one who fixed outside1Give (tell) it right! Please cut off 60! 2 Comes3 an honest, a whole hearted4 person to Gibson: "Guilty one! 5 Are the Nation6 and G-d a joke? Does a heap of ruins a place to permanently place water? No!" (That is) His line! It is their Anger! The story of creation7 the guilty one will negate (refuse to accept)! He placed permanently, and he insulted from a record8. Ah, you are in a heap of ruins. It is a beautiful hotel that is a heap of ruins (that is Kosher). Hashem: "Mel is rotten." It has to be said9 G-d is one10. My God! Hashem is the one that kills11. He killed; or, another interpretation12: "because Hashem is G-d."

1 The main action of sufferings of Jesus in "The Passion" is staged in the open.
2 According to Jewish law, 1 part of 60 does not contaminate the bulk. The implication here is that the whole is contaminated (all 60 parts).
3 The root of the word is Aramaic root form of meaning "to come" (Isaiah 21:12, Ezra 5:3, Ezra 5:16). Mel Gibson comes across "The Passion," in Aramaic.
4 Job 1:1: "There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was whole-hearted and upright, and one that feared God, and shunned evil." Bottom line: a "saint" is complaining, or a least a righteous person.
5 It is used as an acronym as found in the dictionary for (the owner of guilt – or the one that owes).
6 the nation refers to the Jewish nation as it is THE nation in the Bible.
7 the acronym is found in the dictionary to indicate the story of creation
8 from the movie that set a record. (or a movie that is a rocord?) <-added by me
9 acronym (in the dictionary) for the two word yesh lomar.
10 "One has to say that G-d is one." This is an obligation of the Jew, to say that three times a day, all year long.
11 The LORD killeth, and maketh alive (1Samuel 2:6)
12 (Perush Acher) as found in the dictionary.

Dear truthseeker,

If you're wondering why your posts were moved to The Dragon, Beast and False Prophet Convention Center, it's because I can't think of anything more erroneous than Bible Code Digest's praise of Mel Gibson or as confusing as your previous post.

Quote:
Mel Gibson is a Bach of the people and of God, is a 16-letter code with a skip of 3,806.

Please compare their code with our review of Mel Gibson's Passion of the Christ movie.

I'm sorry, but your reply merely evidences the fact that you are not judging for yourself, but making a very base assumption based on a single line of text. First of all, it is not Biblecodedigest's line you are speaking of, but a line found in the bible. Secondly, if you were to actually read the text you would see that it is, indeed NOT painting Gibson in a favorable, and if you were to actually visit the site and read the article, you would get a more detailed analysis of the passage. I believeI read somethnig on this forum about posts that are too long being unnacceptable, and I thought mine was nearing such a length, that is why I linked you to the site and asked you to see for yourself.

I do not understand what was confusing about my post, if you would pose any questions, I will gladly answer them. I am sorry if my wording or the concepts I presented were put forth in a confusing manner, that is most definitely not my intent. I am, as my name would indicate, merely a seeker of truth.

I would also like to post the full text from which Eugene is quoting, along with Biblecodedgest's first line of commentary regarding it.

Here is the ELS discovered by Roy Reinhold:

[Hebrew characters omitted]

code-- Behold, please, you will cut off/strike off 60; a colleague comes, Mel Gibson is a Bach of the people. And the curse of a mocker opens/unseals the heap of ruins; it will complete the line. And their anger, behold, of a people with Bach, he will take away. Drink. --code

commentary-- Only G-d can truly judge each and every one of us. However, I believe that the codes do not paint Gibson in a favorable light

Perhaps you are not familiar with the codes. Basically they started when a Rabbi found that throught the first two books of torah (Gen. and Ex.), every 50 letters, in the original hebrew text, was a letter of the word Torah (or T-R-V-H), and the same was found backwards in the last two books (Num. and Deut.). The studies have expanded from there, and many such "codes" have been found, including code in the Old Testament indicating Yeshuah (Jesus) as the messiah. These codes have not been able to be duplicated in any other text, religious or not. The closest anyone has come, I believe, is a code 1/20th the length of the longest code found in the bible thus far. For more info, please visit the site or pick up one of the many books on the topic. (Not to be confused with the terrible and blasphemous DaVinci code).

God bless

Dear Truthseeker,

I know all about "Bible codes" and their indistinct messages. I'm certain it's all nonsense, inspired by Satan, and one of many clever distractions that is diverting the attention of mankind away from the three angels' messages of Revelation 14:6-12. Do you really believe that cryptic messages, loved by the tabloids, even remotely compare to the gospel message predicted in Revelation 18:1,2 that will soon illuminate the earth with heavenly glory?

I protest your advice to consult spiritists and wizards on the meaning of indistinct messages.

Quote:
And when they say to you, "Seek those who are mediums and wizards, who whisper and mutter," should not a people seek their God? Should they seek the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. Isaiah 8:19-20. NKJV.

"For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle?" (1 Corinthians 14:8).

I definitely understand your caution regarding the purported Bible Codes. I, myself, remain somewhat skeptical, for the reasons you stated, and the fact the scripture cautions about the rise of false prophets in the end of days. However, the fact remains that the Bible is the only book in which codes such as this have been discovered, and not for lack of trying, many athiests and akeptics have searched tirelessly to find similar codes in books such as the Koran(sp?) and War and Peace with very little success. I do not take the fact that tabloids use these codes as evidence of their heretical, or incorrect nature. Tabloids often use scripture itself as a topic for their exploitative and voyeuristic articles. The point I was getting at was that we all know about the sealing of the book, what better way to seal a book than to encode a message that cannot be decrypted without the aid of computers? The codes have accurately predicted the assassination of Rabin, Sadat, as well as the untimely election of Netanyahu. Also, the names Bush, Sharon and Arafat are rpeatedly encoded with the phrase "end of days." I would implore you to answer the question of why a satanic message would state the messianic and divine nature of Jesus, a message, again found in the Old Testament. I admit the messages are cryptic, but the phrase "Bach of the people" may, indeed, not be edifying Gibson, as the rest of the passage is quite obviously deriding him. I am no scholar of musical figures, and do not know very much about the man Bach, any more than the fact that he wrote some music that people hold in high regard today, this says nothing of his standing with God, however. I admit that the angel's messages are important, but let's not forget that the Bible is a book that needs to be taken as a whole to be fully understood, and I think that focusing too much on a few passages has been the cause of much heresy and wandering from the will of God. I merely ask you to seek with an open and honest heart, seek the truth, for the truth is often times not what we first assume.

Take care and God bless

I would like to pint out that the link you provided "Scientific Refutation of the Bible Codes" is filled with falsified and spun information. I can provide you with a host of sites which would refute the claims given there, quite convincingly. I implore you to dig deeper and not take a single we page as definitive proof. For your benefit, hereis one link to a page at biblecodedigest.com, let me know what you think. http://biblecodedigest.com/page.php/202

No refutation, Eugene? If you can't refute my point on a scriptural basis, I must ask that you remove me from this "false prophet convention center," as it is simply insulting to be here. :) Might I suggest Mid-range controversy?

Thank you and God bless

Dear Truthseeker,

I've already refuted your point on a scriptural basis. If any move can be made, I'll need specific answers to specific questions. What's the answer to Assassinations Foretold in Moby Dick and the apparent declaration that Genesis says that there are codes in Moby Dick?

Eugene, I provided you with a link which wil lexplain for you the inaccuracies in the page you provided me. Mostly, thae page seems dedicated to Drosin's book "The Bible Code." I do not advocate this book, as Drosin has no qualification to comment on such material, and does, indeed slant his evidence. Any codes found usuing the English language cannot be used as evidence against, as English is not Hebrew, these two languages, when written, operate quite differently.

Because you make claims like this and don't seem to display any awareness that the given refutation is calling you a liar, this thread will have to stay where it is.

Eugenem there is a reason I first cited biblecodedigest.com. Yes, Drosin's book, "The Bible Codes" has crossword-like "codes" very similar to the ones cited in the links you provided. However, I implore you to link me to any site featuring similar codes to those on biblecodedigest. Drosin is not a believer, and I think his book may be an attempt by the enemy to cloud an important message. Here are some exaples of the codes I'm talking about, NOT the crossword-like codes that CAN and have been found anywhere. The codes features on biblecodedigest can NOT and have NOT been replicated anywhere. Codes like:

"Heussein is a vapor (transitory power). Like a guarded lamb, God is keeping Jews and Levites whole. And the cell inside your dwelling will become a torture chamber."

"The trouble of the newborn-one (U.S.?) is vigilant and honest, because of the ruin (9/11?) Get out as if Iraq had been sent out. The majority is aware that, rest in peace, you will come, the villainy with light. You will understand the heart of granite."

"There is quarrel in his speeches. A living brother uttered words to them and to me. And Zubaidah turned to his sea, without then lying for a whole week. Oh, the mountain of her interior will bear a testimonial to her name."

The codes on the sites you refered me to do not even come close to the lenghth of these, the longest being only two or three words long, possibly with some pseudo-related words not too far away in the text.
