Hello all,
I am a new member, my name is Mary and I am a Seventh-day Adventist pastor's wife (no children), living in Western Nebraska. I became an SDA when I was 24 in 1987. My mother and I joined the church together in April of that year.

I met my husband at Union College in Sept. of that year. We were married in 1991 and went off to S. Korea where were missionaries until 1999.

I have had some strange (according to some people's thinking maybe) encounter myself. All throughout my childhood I would dream of something and then it would come to pass (#1 before I was a christian, #2 it was not dejavu, i rememberd the exact dream). For example I was 9 1/2 when we moved from Mass. to Ok. it was a 3 day trip...before that I dreamed that our family was in a car on a white rollercoaster 3 nights ina row...I later dreamed of a classroom 4 months before we changed schools and I later entered that classroom.

this started getting more important when I was about 21, I dreamed of a young man with dark hair and glasses....4 years later I met him...he was the intern pastor who gave us bible studies before we joined the church. Jan 9, 1987 I dreamed that I was in love with a man...the next September I met him and heard an angel's voice say "this is him"...I knew then that I would eventually marry this man....and I did May 10, 1991.

I DO NOT claim to be a prophetess, these being only for myself. I believe that one can have a close relationship with a personal God who reveals secrets to them.....if they can receive it in humility, and they need it.

I only wish to glorify God in my relationships ( I have failed him many times) both in person and in my contacts on the internet (this forum included).
