A certain young man went to his friend's house and knocked at the door. A dog was standing behind him. When his friend opened the door and received him in, the dog followed him. It chased a cat inside, ran all over the house and damaged a great many costly articles. At last, it came and sat beside the two friends. Both of them fondly stroked the dog. After sometime, the visitor was about to leave and the friend asked him, "Are you not taking your dog with you?" He replied, "It is not my dog. I thought it was yours." Both of them were deceived by thinking that the dog belonged to the other. As a result, the stray dog had damaged many valuable things in the house.
This is how the devil enters our lives even without our own knowledge. Before we come to realize it, he will utterly ruin our lives.
JN 10:10 "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. |
