I've read the Bible references to the Sabbath (Saturday), and there are many regulations associated with observing the Sabbath, such as: not travelling, not working, not talking idly and not pursuing one's own interest.
I also read an encyclopedia, to study the Jewish culture, which is where the origination of the Sabbath comes from. It read that their Sabbaths consisted of rest, recreation and prayer. They would also meet at the Synagogue for prayers and to see friends.
I believe that the Sabbath is the Lord's special day, set apart for His worship. So, I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on how the Sabbath day is best kept.
Thank You, Matthew. _________________ And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. Rom 8:23.
