I would like an informed SDA response to one question I have. Those in the hierarchy might want to cover their ears or run and hide when they hear this. I’m thinking in the direction of a legally relevant sincerity test. What do the administrators of a Seventh-day Adventist church owned business typically do when it’s discovered that an employee is a defiant, proud, unrepentant, practicing homosexual?

Are you saying those of us who responded are uninformed.

Chris,

No. I'm asking those who believe they're informed to answer. What do the administrators of a Seventh-day Adventist church owned business typically do when it’s discovered that an employee is a defiant, proud, unrepentant, practicing homosexual?

The purpose of my question is to get Adventists to examine themselves and consider how well they might do in a reasonable sincerity test if the state were to test their sincerity.

I told you that the Adventist slant on California Assembly Bill 17 clearly reveals the hypocrisy of Seventh-day Adventists. (Recall page 1). Now that the Bill has passed, what does Alan J. Reinach say about it as President of the Seventh-day Adventist Church State Council?

In an article for Liberty Magazine, Alan J. Reinach wrote:
The bill was never about actually providing benefits to domestic partners. Religious institutions are entitled, under California employment discrimination law, to hold employees to religious lifestyle standards. Those who violate sexual ethics standards may be disciplined, even terminated; and so anyone actually seeking domestic partner benefits could lawfully be terminated. Liberty Magazine, January/February 2004.

In other words, the Seventh-day Adventists were just whining bitterly about their sincerity being tested.
