Have you ever been in a hospital where the doctors did not know how to operate? An incompetent doctor would never be allowed to practice but not in Churches. Unfortunately most churches are made up of doctors or ministers who don't know how to minister or to be a doctor! But Jesus knew how to minister or to attend to the wants and needs of other. The bible records:

MT 4:24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

ACTS 10:38 "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Jesus taught His true disciples how to minister AND MINISTER THEY DID:
MK 16:17 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 16:18 "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."
16:19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.

ACTS 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. 8:6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. 8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed. 8:8 And there was great joy in that city.

BUT THE FOOLISH MINISTERS TODAY DON'T ACCEPT THE WORDS OF JESUS AND AS A RESULT SHOULD RESIGN FROM BEING MINISTERS AS THEY ARE NOT TRUE MINISTERS OF THE GOSPEL AND ARE NOT DOING WHAT GOD HAS COMMANDED THEM TO DO:

EZ 34:1 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 34:2 "Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds: "Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 34:3 "You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock. 34:4 "The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them. 34:5 "So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered. 34:6 "My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill; yes, My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth, and no one was seeking or searching for them."

wise seeker,

I always thought that the word of faith movement was about pretended signs, false wonders and unusually pretentious shepherds who live for the sole purpose of acquiring great wealth by fleecing the flock.

Please present us with a list of ministers who minister unselfishly like Jesus.

I was not discussing the word of faith ministers but the word of God! Could you deny anything that I had stated to be against the word of God?

wise seeker, you wrote:

I don’t think that I’m being out of line by asking you who the faithful ministers are. Your thread title asked a question: “Would an incompetent doctor be allowed to practice?” I suggested that the most incompetent doctors are in the word of faith movement.

A valid discussion of the word of God is not the purpose of The Dragon, Beast and False Prophet Convention Center. If you don’t have any applications in mind for Babylon, why did you begin your thread here?

Please review the user agreement. The purpose of these forums is for discussions and difference of opinion. No one can disagree with voluminous quotations of Scripture. Everyone knows that medical practice requires competent practitioners and that Babylon is based on false faith, chicanery and the harlotry of charlatans. What’s your point in stating the obvious?

Isn't your statement in light of God's word very harsh and bigotted? Assuming it to be true could you give me a list of compentent doctors or ministers in the Christian circles today who minister to the sheep like Jesus and the disciples did? Could you tell me what miracles God does through them? How many people are healed and set free from sickness and demons by them? None?

ACTS 2:22 "Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know-

ACTS 8:6 And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.

ACTS 8:13 Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done.

ACTS 15:12 Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles.

ACTS 19:11 Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul,

There are no rules of discussion. I simply wrote my honest opinion.

I can’t imagine why it’s harsh to sincerely believe that there’s a group of the lowest rank. And what is bigoted about having ordinary discernment? Televangelists have a high profile and it seems to me that the ones that are the most openly profane (and the least like Christ) teach “word of faith.”

I’m not aware that God is performing genuine miracles through any one person on a regular basis but I certainly see a lot of pretended signs and wonders.

I would have to strain my brain to the utmost just to list 3 ministers in this century that I believe are true Christians. You require that they minister like Jesus and the disciples and Paul. I don’t know anyone that fits that description. Most of the church leaders I know, see or read about are tools of Satan, not representatives of God.

You referenced Faith in Faith or Faith in God? by Hank Hanegraaff. But Hank is a real hypocrite according to some of his own people. He wouldn't know what a miracle was even if it hit him in the face! Therefore his testimony is unreliable. See What’s the truth about the CRI and Hank Hanegraaff?

Bill Clinton is a real scoundrel to many Americans but his testimony would probably be believed on many topics. You are required to refute what Hank Hanegraaff has written about the "faith" teachers with an argument that’s more relevant than an ad hominem attack.

I am surprised at your logic unless you are an idiot. Bill Clinton is a son of hell, a fornicator and adulterer and liar, and anything he has to say is irrelevant to any intelligent person. The same with Hank! Why don't you quote what a true man of God has to say or quote what Jesus said rather than these idiots?

wise seeker,

I have an audiotape from CRI that features the recorded voices of many of the “faith” teachers, each mouthing their incredible, extraordinary blasphemies. I’ve listened to this tape many times. I’ve also heard the exact recording broadcast on Hanegraaff’s radio program. What is it about factual, irrefutable evidence that you don’t like?

If there is anything in Hank Hanegraaff’s widely circulated audiotape evidence that you can refute, please present the refutation now.

An idiot and con artists like hank has no creditability with me at all. All con artists know how to talk nicely and deceive people. Hank is no different! He is nothing but a thief who flagrantly plagiarized the writings of others. Check out:

Why do you need a secondary source to defend your arguments? Cannot you defend your own words yourself? I do! The bible alone should be sufficient to prove or disprove something. We are to live by God's word and not by the mouth of fools!
