Before getting married, many people now find themselves signing or being asked to sign prenuptial agreements, it doesnt seem right for a Christian to do prenuptial agreements as it seems to show they have doubts about the other person. Does the Bible have anything that can help with understanding what to do or how to handle prenuptial agreements.

Try for instance Deuteronomy 22:13 If a man takes a wife, and goes in to her and then spurns her, and charges her with shameful conduct, and brings an evil name upon her....... proof is then provided by the family. And if the husband is found to be a liar then he is to pay the family because he brought shame upon the wife.

We do not have a judgement system where these things can be determined. Though It should not need to be so, it is most likely best to be safe.

Also each family in isreal was given an inharitance that even if they lost it, after a certain time they were to be given it back. This applied to women as well as men. One man had only daughters and God said that each of them should be given a portion.

I guess what needs to be thought of is, if a devorce did happen, what happens to the property aquired before the marrage occured. Also how to devide assets after marrage so it is equitable.
