Hi fellow Beleivers!
Perhaps I should say more of where I am coming from.

I grew up in a hedonistic non churchgoing home. My father raged and my mother ignored.
Since I was a small child I wanted to know who God was. All I had in my world was the TV to find out about GOD. My parents had books and mags( mysteries and porno) lying around but no Bible. It was the 70's!

But once a year my parents let me stay up at night to watch The Ten Commandments with Charlton( 'get your stinken paws off of me you dirty ape') Heston. Gazing in awe I learned about GOD. Of course the story was melodramatic 50' style. It might as well be Lana('my darling daughter killed my mobster boyfriend') Turner playing the Queen of Egypt mum. And it derails off the Bible truth track for a zillion miles. But it was the only thing I had that showed me a God that exists and cares for His Children. Edward( you dirty rat) G. Robinson was a hoot! and Anne('is that real butter?') Baxter needed lessons on being a girlfriend.

If any of you happent to catch that wonderful movie. Watch it! Imagine a child without God learning a bit about HIM from that movie.

I have since learned more about God outside that movie.

I think this movie is the best that Hollywood ever made. I'm sure it's much better than The Chronicles of Narnia because The Ten Commandments movie is somewhat realistic whereas it's easy to interpret The Chronicles of Narnia as pure fiction.
