This was split from a thread in the physics forum —the Moderator
Can somebody explain to me how this board is supposed to work? Do people just post random truisms for fun or something? I'm not criticizing you [Perspicacious]. Just curious. I have a hard time making sense of a lot of threads. Many of them seem to be random rants of Eugene with unnamed debaters.
Have another look at principle number 4 in the user agreement. I believe it answers your question.
If you don't understand what I've written in math and physics, perhaps you should just leave that alone. Just bear in mind that the mathematicians that ruled in my favor —effectively settling the dispute that I had with the few poorly trained physicists at sci.physics.relativity —obviously understood me.
Do you realize that unsanctified minds are always ready to belittle new revelation?

It just seems a little strange Eugene, the randomness of some of the topics.

Ok, obviously we have beaten this issue to death. I am a mathematician and a physicist and I generally rule against you. And I understand everything that you write. You are just wrong a lot of the time.

I am open to new theories. I take them seriously. Flawed derivations don't resonate with me though. Sorry.

How does it prove I lost? You lost before I even took it to e-mail. Throwing random passages from scripture or diagrams of clocks and rods only shwos that you need a way to fill up the space to make it look like you're saying stuff of value.

I have undergraduate degrees (BS's) in both math and physics. I worked my ass off for them. And generally, grad students in some field assume the titles associated with the experts (physicsits, mathematicians, etc.)

Actually, if you look at the topic, it started out as an innocent question, which Eugene took as a reason to criticize me. You, my friend, cast the first stone w/ respect to trivial typographical errors being something more than trivial.
But between me and you, you were the one to cast the first stone. And if all you did before I came along was an innocent question, then all I did was make a couple of innocent suggestions for your benefit.
