What a pity. I guess these things must come to pass so we can get to our eternal home.  To go with the abominations in the article, we'll have "art" in the sanctuary to accompany it.

When I lived in the SF bay area I occasionally went to "shape note" singing meetings where people got together to sing from the old "Sacred Harp" hymnals. One Sunday afternoon we met in a Episcopal church that had excellent acoustics for our acapella singing. Someone who was connected to that that church showed us around. He pointed out the pictures of thier saints which included mother Teresa, Malcolm X, a muslim martyr, and others who I did not recognize. Also on thier walls were photos by a photographer named Robert Mapplethorpe who is famous for his photos of nude males, of various ages, including children, and sometimes in rather suggestive poses. The ones in the church were not as bad as some, but they certainly did not belong in any church that purports to be Christian.

The saddest detail is that nothing mentioning the evils that Adventists commit is listed. Was it purposely, knowingly excluded or does the Pastor not know of any of the shameful things that the Seventh-day Adventist church has been doing in God's name?

Shubee, why not focus on some of the good things the SDA Church is involved with: ADRA, a large church growth rate in many countries, uplifting the Sabbath when most churches are keeping Sunday, many hospitals throughout the world, more than one million members now in North America, a continuing public ministry through the media, a world-wide sense of community seen at General Conference sessions and felt by travellers who visit SDA churches around the world.  God is still blessing his church and there are many more than 7,000 who have not bowed to Baal.

So you are proud of ADRA, the Adventist Development and Relief Agency that kept quiet about Sudan’s genocide against Sudanese Christians for 19 years while publishing fraudulent news reports at the same time to pretend that they were completely unaware of the real situation? http://www.everythingimportant.org/viewtopic.php?t=352

The number of Adventists around the world is meaningless if they're just like the world.

Instead of praising the Adventist health care industry, shouldn't we be crying about hospitals like Loma Linda Medical Center where Nazi medical ethics can be bought and practiced without SDAs whimpering or protesting? http://thyroid.about.com/cs/toxicchemicalsan/a/perchlorate.htm

You mentioned public ministry through the media. So you're not ashamed of the Adventist church working side-by-side with the spiritualistic teachers that are promoting the doctrines of demons? http://www.revivalsermons.org/forums/index.php?topic=1159.0

You also seem proud of Adventists keeping the Sabbath. Then why not focus on the good things that the Sanhedrin has done in first century Judaism? They were strict Sabbath keepers also. And the apostle Paul said that there was a remnant among them according to God's gracious choice. Ro 11:5.

As for wanting to condemn outsiders and not Adventists, didn't Paul also say that he had nothing to do with judging outsiders but that wrongdoers in the church should be judged? 1 Cor. 5.
